In case you missed it, the Chicago Bulls, correction, MY Chicago Bulls took on the superhuman task of stopping LeBron James and the surging Miami Heat. Before the game started, my phone starting vibrating with messages that stated, “28″…”Your team has no chance”…”D. Rose ain’t walking on that hardwood tonight. Rip gone. Noah ain’t playing. Get ready for an L.” My response to all the afore mentioned messsages was simple, “Ha. You’ll see.” AND SEE THEY DID.

The Bulls played grown man basketball last night. Kirk Hinrich tackled LeBron rather than to give up an easy bucket. 
Taj hit Bron with a hard foul on his way to the cup. In a pivotal moment, Hinrich ripped the ball from the grasps of the walking flamingo known as Chris Bosh. 
To top it all off a frustrated King James through a vicious shoulder/elbow combination that would’ve weakened a lesser man, but Boozer absorbed the contact. Boozer stated in LeBron’s grill seconds after the play, “I’m too strong for that Bron Bron.” (http://www.nba.com/video/games/bulls/2013/03/28/20130327-bulls-physical-on-lebron.nba)
27 is my favorite number. I was born on the 27th. Yesterday was the 27th and it seemed fate that Heat’s winning streak would end at 27 to the hands of my favorite team. Not only did we end the streak, but we captured a playoff birth at the same time.
All is well.

It was some time last week when @poeticjustiZZ text me asking if I’d heard of Lianne La Havas. I told him no. He then urged that I open Spotify and go listen to her album. After about an hour or so, I think I fell in love. I’m not sure yet exactly what happened but her music is good and she’s gorgeous. It’s Been Awhile…
Well, first off… my apologies for the slight disappearance. School got busy, my phone broke and then I just started enjoying life. Over the past month, I’ve been in Norman a lot catching up with friends I don’t see enough. I’m slightly procrastinating this paper, but I’ll get started right after this post. I should have taken more pictures, but like I said, things got hectic.

Had the chance to catch up with @iamOralB for a bit. Always a pleasure. Hung out with Mickey & Chelsea a lot before I dropped Mickey off to go to Houston.

Fast forward past all the papers and tests to Thanksgiving break. Soon as my test was over I went to Norman played endless games of 2K13 with the homies, found a pho joint in Norman, (Pho Winner is pretty live) 
and came back a few days before Thanksgiving. Had fun with the fam as always on Thanksgiving and headed back to OKC/Norman with @MrCollinZZ for a MMG concert. He ended up with free tickets and let me tag along. Jaren’s always looking out for me. Gotta appreciate big brothers. Twas a good night. Ended up going back down the turnpike and coming back to Norman that same day (don’t ask.) Sunday, I chilled and hooped in the Huff for 4 hours or so. Weather changed dramatically from the time I went in and came out so now I’m sick. Saul good though. Monday, I was drugged up on Benadryl so I slept all day.Monday night, I was up and well enough to go to the event which was the reason I was in Norman this weekend. Congratulations to the homie @typical_g.
