@DRose – #TheReturn
As most of you know, I’m probably one of the biggest Chicago Bulls’ fans. Therefore, I will be posting every episode of #TheReturn because…. well this is my website and I can. When D. Rose went down anyone who follows me on Twitter (@ArtisticInsaniT) probably saw the depressed tweets for about two months. Well these episodes are helping the pain, but I won’t be fully happy until he’s back on the court in a Chicago Bulls uniform. In the meantime, peep episode 1.
Blake Griffin Meet Pau Gasol
Blake Griffin baptizes in the waters of Lake Minnetonka. Twice. Like, he must have listened to 2Pac’s Hit Em Up and heard a rumor about Pau & his moms or something. This is the most disrespectful thing I’ve seen since…well, Blake dunked on Perkins.
Derrick Rose for ESPN the Magazine
Derrick Rose for ESPN the Magazine.
As long as he keeps the Chicago Bulls winning, the kid can do no wrong.
Kemba Walker
The sun, Stevie Wonder’s musical ability, Kemba Walker’s ability to be clutch. These are all modern wonders but Kemba took it to the next level. In McGhee’s defense, they shouldn’t have switched that TOO big of mismatch for anyone power forward. Cross over to step back 18 footer at the buzzer though?? That might have just wrapped up Player of the Year for him.
You Sounding Kinda Suspect…
Mo Williams(notes) is 27, healthy and has three years and $26 million remaining on his Cleveland Cavaliers contract. But none of that mattered much to him this summer after he watched LeBron James(notes) leave the Cavs to join the Miami Heat. Williams said he was so depressed by James’ exit that he considered walking away from the NBA.
“That’s how bad it got,” Williams said. “I contemplated it. I really sat down and envisioned life after basketball. …I really saw myself not playing.
Mo Williams teamed with LeBron James to lead the Cavs to the NBA’s best record from 2009-10.
“It just didn’t make sense to me. …It doesn’t make sense to me.”
#pause
This is a teammate, NOT your girlfriend. You were going to give up your career because one man left? You probably workout to Trey Songz too smh.
