Absence
I took a little time away from the world to handle some personal things. We’ll be back to posting in the very near future.
Things that have happened since I left:
- I’m 22 now.

- I’ve gotten better at NBA 2K12.
- I’ve read and prayed a lot.

Big K.R.I.T. reached out to NPR to help him stream his new album Live from the Underground and not to be left behind Spitta chose to stream his new album as well. The Stoned Immaculate goes. In what Curren$y calls his first real album, its packed from features from notable names. Enough from me, press play and enjoy.
Blake Griffin Meet Pau Gasol
Blake Griffin baptizes in the waters of Lake Minnetonka. Twice. Like, he must have listened to 2Pac’s Hit Em Up and heard a rumor about Pau & his moms or something. This is the most disrespectful thing I’ve seen since…well, Blake dunked on Perkins.

ASAP Rocky
Harlem rap sensation A$AP Rocky teamed up with VICE to create a video inspired by Scarface, Belly, Enter The Dragon, The Warriors and Willy Wonka & The Chocolate Factory.
The result is a video that follows A$AP Rocky through a dreamy fantasy world filled with 40s, Ferraris, homies and hoards of cash.
Black Hollywood 4
Red Diamond Entertainment and Luxurious Life Entertainment combine to present yet another classic endeavor within the Black Hollywood series. The 4th installment was just a step further into excellence for the group as they turned OKC into a night life epicenter for one more evening! Some say we’re VANE!
I know I know.. That’s not the correct spelling but there’s a method behind the madness and a meaning to it all. VANE Magazine, creation of Vanitee Promotions and our very own Jaren C. Collins, has successfully launched itself it to the socialite stratosphere of Oklahoma City. As Oklahoma City continues to rise, through play off contending sports teams and promotion propaganda, VANE Magazine intends to follow the strides in a phenomenal display of professional style and taste with eye catching swagger.
The Artistic Insanity is not only proud to have a co-owner of VANE amongst its ranks but also to grace the evening with a little dose of our photography stylings. The night VANE launched, our very own Phillip “Pheno” Buggs manhandled the lenses and came out with a few dope shots. Also in the building, our brother from another mother, LaVelle Compton of C3 Visions.

I won’t pretend as if I’m some mystical being who magically knows about all good music and no one ever puts me on. However, I find it rare when a Grammy winning artist tweets about an amazing singer that would’ve probably gone entirely unnoticed. Ever since I saw “The Tweet“, I’ve been scrambling to find all of his music ever since. At this point you’ve either undoubtedly doubled over in anticipation or you’ve already clicked the play button. Regardless, I’m speaking of Frank Ocean. I could ramble on, but I’d prefer you just listened.

I discovered these gentleman one late night perusing the internet and was extremely impressed. Its a pleasure to find a group of men who haven’t forgot about the most dangerous weapon in a man’s dressing arsenal. No, I’m not referring to those deadstock Jordans, I speak of a well-tailored suit. They teach you how to get everything right. Their work is phenomenal. Now Valentine’s Day is upon us, and fellas if you don’t have any idea what to do, I suggest you scramble up some ideas from The DUSociety. Make it snappy you only have a few hours left.

This beat is the best beat of 2010. HANDS DOWN. The only other instrumentals to come close are those of Mr. West. In summation, Mr. West is in a race all of his own. Ross, I can’t blame you for making your own video. I would’ve done the same.

Mo Williams(notes) is 27, healthy and has three years and $26 million remaining on his Cleveland Cavaliers contract. But none of that mattered much to him this summer after he watched LeBron James(notes) leave the Cavs to join the Miami Heat. Williams said he was so depressed by James’ exit that he considered walking away from the NBA.
“That’s how bad it got,” Williams said. “I contemplated it. I really sat down and envisioned life after basketball. …I really saw myself not playing.
